The Christian County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank Dr. David Fuchs with Smile Dental for his support of the Christian County Sheriff’s Office Citizens on Patrol program. Dr. Fuchs and his staff graciously donated a portable Motorola Radio and charger for the C.O.P. members to use during the performance of their duties.
Sheriff Brad Cole is grateful for the support his agency and deputies receive from the community they serve. As as result of that support, Sheriff Cole stated, programs like Citizens on Patrol are possible. “It’s wonderful to see members of the community standing in partnership with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office to support a program like Citizens on Patrol.” Sheriff Cole added, “it is through these community partnerships, like Smile Dental, that these specialized programs are able to exist.”
Sheriff Cole has indicated that the donated radio will ensure that there is always a portable unit available for the Citizens on Patrol members as they work out in the community. The program is an important addition to the Sheriff’s office, allowing members of the general public to work hand-in-hand with members of the Sheriff’s office to improve over-all community safety.
