If you wish to claim property, you may contact the Property and Evidence Room at (417) 582 – 5348 or complete the online form below. No property returns will be given without a previously scheduled appointment. Be advised that appointments are scheduled two weeks from inquiry.
Public hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. No appointments are scheduled on Friday.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office Property and Evidence Room does not keep “found” or hold property for “safekeeping.”
The Property and Evidence Room does not house vehicles. Contact the Deputy associated with your case for further information.
Consumable items, such as medication, medical marijuana, tobacco, food, and beverages, are not able to be returned. The Property and Evidence Room staff does not have the authority to make decisions on property disposition or ownership, or give case information. If you have questions concerning your case, you must contact the Deputy or Detective investigating your case.
If you have property that was left in the Christian County Jail, you must contact the Christian County Jail at (417) 582 – 1976
