2016 Christmas Message From Sheriff Brad Cole

Friends, The holiday season is upon us and with it brings opportunities to create memories we will cherish for years to come. I’d like to take a moment to acknowledge the men and women who have worked tirelessly over the course of the last 16 months to provide the best services to our wonderful community. We have employed some of the most dedicated Deputies and administrative staff in the history of this office. Collectively, we have been able to achieve so much, and they all deserve our utmost appreciation. I’d also like to thank many members of our community. The county’s emergency response team (CERT), has volunteered countless hours to provide support during some of our most critical incidents. Students from our inaugural Sheriff’s Office Citizen’s Academy, who continue to actively assist the Sheriff’s Office in whatever capacity they can. A very special thanks to all of the men and women who have supported law enforcement across the country during a time when it may not be socially acceptable to do so.  Thank you all! In the coming days, many of us will be spending time with our loved ones for the holidays. I challenge everyone to help keep our roadways safe for those traveling through our county. Please, buckle up and remember to drink responsibly. Deputies will be covering many of our more frequently traveled roads to ensure safe travels for all motorists, but should you encounter an unsafe driver, report it. It is the mission of the Christian County Sheriff’s Office to protect the people we serve. We can only do this with the help of my Deputies and the citizens we serve. On behalf of everyone at the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, have a safe and happy holiday season! Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and God bless you all!   Sincerely,   Sheriff Brad Cole   press-release-12-23-2016
