Administrative Executive

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a competent Administrative Executive to provide executive level administrative management in a well-organized and timely manner.

Interested candidates will work on a variety of tasks related to county government.  Lists of duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as the point of contact between the public, other executives, vendors, and to the Sheriff.
  • Arrange meetings, appointments and provide scheduling reminders
  • Manage eleven support personnel and ensure quality public service
  • Monitor office inventory and research vendors
  • Produce reports, presentations, and briefs
  • Provide efficient documentation and maintain accurate records keeping
  • Invoicing and financial tracking
  • Collect civil process fees and accounting duties
  • Prepare budget related documents
  • Monitor funds of the office
  • Manage the IT service needs of the office

The ideal candidate should have an administrative assistant, manager of personnel, or other administrative supervisory experience.

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Full comprehension of office procedures and equipment
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office
  • Planning and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily workload
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
